Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a detail-focused PLM Change Management professional in Cincinnati, OH to own and coordinate change requests from initiation to implementation. You will address reviewer comments, revise parts and BOM structures, and ensure traceability to approved Change Requests within PLM.

You will work with Configuration Management to resolve workflow errors and perform BOM where-used analyses to validate affected units before implementation, coordinating multiple concurrent

Responsibilities

• Create or assume ownership of Change Requests (Change Orders, Change Actions, Issues) in PLM and coordinate them from initiation through approval and implementation.
• Address and reconcile rejection comments from reviewers and approvers, ensuring changes are updated and resubmitted where needed.
• Create or revise parts and update existing BOM structures to reflect approved engineering changes.
• Review and update part families, including attributes and configuration-related data.
• Work with the Configuration Management team to resolve errors that prevent workflow completion or promotion in PLM.
• Conduct BOM where-used analysis and confirm affected units and structures prior to implementation.
• Ensure BOM, part, and document releases and associated changes are accurately implemented in PLM and traceable to approved Change Requests.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent specification revisions affecting a given BOM part or product structure.
