Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a Configuration Management professional to support Responsible Configuration Management (RCM) services in the U.S. market.

The role involves reviewing and dispositioning Change Orders and Issues within PLM as part of the CCB process, ensuring changes align with engineering practices and customer requirements. The candidate will perform BOM analyses, route approvals, and coordinate with Change Owners to resolve rejection comments, while ensuring proper releases in PLM

Qualifications

• Review and disposition Change Orders, Change Actions, and Issues in PLM as part of the CCB process.
• Verify Change Requests are complete and align with stated intent.
• Confirm proposed changes meet customer requirements and applicable engineering practices.
• Perform BOM usage analyses to confirm affected units, configurations, and structures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and route necessary approvals and notifications based on Change Request type and scope.
• Collaborate with Change Owners and stakeholders to resolve CCB rejection comments and resubmit changes.
• Ensure BOM/part/document releases and related changes are implemented in PLM.
• Support CCB activities across applicable products and product controls.

Review and disposition Change Orders, Change Actions, and Issues in PLM as part of the CCB process.

Verify that each Change Request is complete, technically sound, and aligns with the stated change intent.

Confirm that proposed changes are consistent with customer requirements, applicable product standards, and accepted engineering practices.

Perform Bill of Material (BOM) where-used analysis and confirm all affected units, configurations, and structures.

Identify and route additional approvals and notifications based on the type and scope of each Change Request.

Collaborate with Change Owners and other stakeholders to resolve CCB rejection comments and resubmit changes as needed.

Confirm that BOM/part/document releases and related changes are correctly implemented in PLM.

Support CCB activities across the applicable products and product controls.

Ensure Experience Comply With

Nuclear experience along with required American Codes knowledge.
