Job summary

Jet Linx Aviation invites applications for Second in Command (SIC) on the Challenger 350, based in Chicago, IL. The SIC will support Part 91 and 135 operations, reporting to the Base Chief Pilot and ensuring safe, compliant flight operations.

Requirements include substantial flight experience: 1500 total hours, 500 PIC hours, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, and 150 instrument hours, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Relocation within 2 hours call-out time is preferred.

Qualifications

• Total Time: 1500 hours of flight time.
• Total PIC: 500 hours of PIC time.
• Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours of multi-engine experience.
• Total Turbine: 100 hours of turbine time.
• Total Instrument: 150 hours of instrument time.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times to CFRs and company requirements.
• Maintain communication with the company for standby duty, trip notifications, and reports.
• Maintain and manage EFB hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and manuals are current.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making and Jet Linx core values.
