Job summary

Jet Linx in Austin, TX is seeking a qualified Second in Command for our Challenger 605 to support Part 91 and 135 flight operations. Candidates must live in the base area or relocate, and be within a 2-hour call-out of their home base.

The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and assists in safe, efficient aircraft operation in accordance with CFRs and company procedures. Minimums include 2,500 total hours, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, 150 instrument, plus ATP and 1st Class medical,

Qualifications

• Total Time: 2,500+ hours.
• Total PIC: 500+ hours.
• Total Multi-Engine: 500+ hours.
• Total Turbine: 100+ hours.
• Total Instrument: 150+ hours.
• ATP (Unrestricted) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight and rest times to CFRs and company rules.
• Maintain communication with the company for standby duties and trip notices.
• Maintain and manage EFB hardware and software.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and manuals are current.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Demonstrate proactive, decisive judgment and Jet Linx values.
