Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking qualified Second in Command candidates for our CJ3 light jet operations in Chicago, IL. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and ensures safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with CFRs and company procedures.

Minimum flight requirements include 1500 total hours, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 25 PIC multi-engine, 100 turbine, and 150 instrument hours. Willingness to relocate within 2 hours call out time is expected.

Qualifications

• Total time: 1500 hours.
• PIC time: 500 hours.
• Multi-engine time: 500 hours.
• PIC multi-engine: 25 hours.
• Turbine time: 100 hours.
• Instrument time: 150 hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times to requirements of both the company and CFRs.
• Maintain communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
• Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
• Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
• Convey strong, proactive decision-making skills.
• Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
