Job summary

Jet Linx in Austin, TX is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for our Challenger 605 in Part 91/135 operations. Candidate must reside or relocate to the base area and be within a 2-hour call-out of home base.

The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and helps ensure safe, efficient operation in accordance with CFRs and company procedures. Minimums include 2500 total hours, 500 PIC, 500 multi-engine, 100 turbine, and 150 instrument hours.

Qualifications

• Total flight time 2500 hours
• PIC time 500 hours
• Multi-engine time 500 hours
• Turbine time 100 hours
• Instrument time 150 hours

Responsibilities

• Manage duty, flight, and rest times per company CFRs
• Maintain communications for standby assignments and flight reports
• Maintain EFB hardware and applications
• Keep navigation charts, publications, and manuals current
• Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate
• Demonstrate proactive decision-making and Jet Linx values
