Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Pilot in Command for the Challenger 300 in a 2-pilot account. You will lead the crew, coordinate owner flights and maintenance, and ensure readiness for each leg while reporting to the Chief Pilot or Director of Operations.

Ideal candidates hold ATP, Challenger 300 PIC Type Rating, and 3,000 total hours with 1,000 PIC turbine hours; positions require relocation to the Hawthorne/Greater Los Angeles area and adherence to FAR Part 135 standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates preferred but not required.
• Digital dexterity for aircraft preflight and post-flight.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP).
• Challenger 300 PIC Type Rating.
• 3,000 hours total time.
• 1,000 PIC turbine hours.
• Knowledge of FAR Part 91, 61 and AIM Part Sections 4 & 5.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Pilot in Command (PIC) and coordinate owner flights, aircraft maintenance, and crew training.
• Manage the assigned crew’s schedule and vacations and ensure availability for owner tasks.
• Maintain aircraft readiness, including galley and interior; verify all onboard amenities and systems.
• Oversee preflight inspections and ensure airworthiness per AFM; review flight briefs and weather.
• Comply with all Federal regulations, company procedures, and safety systems; update flight/duty records.
