Job summary

Advanced Air, LLC in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Challenger 300 SIC Pilot to join our on-demand charter operations. The role requires extensive flight hours, IFR proficiency, and strict adherence to FAR 135.293. You will operate under the supervision of the Chief Pilot, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Base pay is $130,000 with an 8 on/6 off schedule. Candidates must live within two hours of base and commit to an 18-month term. Benefits and travel opportunities are provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ATP Multi Required.
• 2,500 hours Total Time.
• 500 hours Cross Country Time.
• 750 hours PIC Time.
• 500 Multi-Engine Land
• 500 Turbine.
• Must pass FAA checks within 12 months as required by FAR 135.293(a/b).
• IFR proficiency check within 12 months (FAR 135.297).
• 6-month IFR proficiency check completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform a visual Pre and Post Flight (walk-around) inspection prior and after each flight
• Assist the Pilot-in-Command during all phases of flight in accordance with operating P&P
• Assume primary responsibility for safety of passengers, crewmembers, cargo, and aircraft if PIC is incapacitated
• Review customer service items and brief PIC on passenger pickup/drop-off, refueling, customs, hangar pickups, and catering
• Primary operational responsibility for completing customer service portions of each leg as outlined in P&P
• Comply with FAA regulations, Company Operations Manual, OPS Specifications, SOPs, and Company Policies
• Update flight and duty records, determine eligibility for next flight, report maintenance discrepancies
• Participate in safety and quality systems by identifying, reporting and mitigating hazards
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by PIC
