Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced chairside Dental Assistant. You will support the dentist across general and restorative procedures, take radiographs, and help patients understand treatment costs and financing options.

The role emphasizes accurate charting, sterilization, and maintaining a full, smooth schedule. You will present treatment plans in plain language, schedule follow-up visits, confirm appointments, and collaborate with the front desk to ensure nothing

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable attendance is essential for this in-person role.
• You will present treatment plans and discuss costs with patients.
• You manage scheduling and confirmations for the provider's calendar.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside across general and restorative procedures.
• Take radiographs and impressions, and chart accurately.
• Set up, break down, and turnover operatories on schedule.
• Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA standards.
• Present treatment plans and explain recommendations in plain language.
• Discuss fees, insurance estimates, and payment options with patients.
• Schedule the next visit while the patient is in the chair to keep the schedule full.
• Confirm upcoming appointments by phone/text to reduce no-shows.
• Coordinate handoff with the front desk so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Support teammates as needed throughout the day.
