Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry in Cary, NC is seeking an experienced chairside Dental Assistant who shows up ready to support the dentist and care for patients. You will help patients understand treatment needs, discuss costs, and book their next visits before they leave the chair.

This hands-on, in-person role emphasizes accuracy, sterile technique, and smooth coordination with the front desk to keep the schedule full.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years chairside experience.
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financials.
• Experience scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Knowledge of dental insurance terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chairside during general/restorative procedures.
• Take radiographs/impressions and chart accurately.
• Set up, break down and turnover operatories on schedule.
• Sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Present treatment plans and explain costs to patients.
• Discuss insurance estimates and financing options with patients.
• Schedule follow-up visits and confirm appointments.
• Coordinate handoffs with front desk to keep schedule full.
