Job summary

CareGivers America is hiring compassionate caregivers to support children in their homes in Lake Ariel. No experience required—we provide paid training and help you become a certified Home Health Aide (HHA).

This is meaningful, one-on-one care in a child’s home, with opportunities to grow and advance. We offer flexible schedules, paid training, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification preferred
• Willingness to work in Wayne County
• Reliable transportation to client locations

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Maintain a safe environment and reinforce positive behavior strategies

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed

• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
