Job summary

CareGivers America in Kingsley, PA is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Caregiver to provide 1:1 in-home support for children. Earn $14.75/hr with paid training and certification, and flexible schedules including full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts.

No experience needed—we train you to become a Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA. You’ll assist with daily living skills, support IEPs and BIPs, and help children build skills in a safe, caring environment.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel to clients' locations in Susquehanna County.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in in-home settings.
• Assist with hygiene, meals, and daily living activities.
• Implement and support IEPs and BIPs.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities to promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with standing, walking, and daily activity tasks as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
