Job summary

CareGivers America in Philadelphia is hiring a Pediatric Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home support for children. No prior experience is required as training and certification are provided, including HHA/CNA pathways.

The role emphasizes compassionate caregiving in familiar home settings. You will work across Philadelphia County with flexible scheduling options, including full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• HHA or CNA certificate preferred
• Willingness to work in Philadelphia County
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' location

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in their homes
• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, meals, and routine care
• Support IEPs and BIPs in collaboration with families and educators
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities to promote skill development
• Maintain a safe, respectful home environment and positive behavior strategies
• Assist with standing, walking, and daily activities as needed

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs)
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment
• Frequent standing and walking, assisting members with daily activities, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
