Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a CFT Development Coordinator to support real estate development and construction from planning through turnover.

You will handle documentation, scheduling, budgets, and coordination across architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies. You will maintain project records, assist meetings, and track submittals and change orders while ensuring compliant documentation and timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in real estate, business administration or construction management.
  • Minimum one year of experience in project coordination or real estate preferred.
  • Must complete required training and obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communications among architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
  • Maintain project schedules, checklists, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
  • Prepare project status reports, budgets, and executive summaries.

Summary of Job Description:The CFT Development Coordinator supports real estate development and construction projects from initial planning through design, permitting, construction, turnover, and closeout. This position provides administrative support related to documentation, scheduling, financials, as well as coordination support to the Development teams.You’ll get a chance to:Coordinates communications and deliverables among architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, attorneys, government agencies, and internal departments.Maintains project schedules, milestone trackers, responsibility matrices, development checklists, action-item logs, current construction drawings, specifications, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and other related project records.Helps coordinate project meetings, ensuring preparation of agenda and record meeting minutes, attends project meetings and site visits as required, and follows up on assigned action items.Maintains orderly electronic and hard-copy project files, including plans, reports, permits, contracts, correspondence, and approvals.Assists with preparation of project status reports, presentations, development budgets, and executive summaries.Supports the bidding, contractor-selection, contract-execution, and pre-construction processes.Track submittals, RFIs, change-order requests, payment applications, inspection reports, and outstanding decisions.Assist with evaluating and documenting potential change orders, including cost, schedule impact, required approvals, and supporting documentation.Provides administrative assistance related to development and construction budgets, commitments, forecasts, and cash-flow schedules.Tracks approved contracts, change orders, invoices, payments, and remaining budget balances.How we reward you:Hybrid Work schedule401K with company matchYearly bonus opportunity*Full medical, dental, and vision insurance *On-site fitness center, biometric screen, and flu shot clinicDiscounts at Panda restaurants, theme parks, and gym membershipsPaid time off starting at 15 days with 7 federal holidays*Continuous education assistance and scholarships*Income protection including Disability, Life and AD&D insurance*Bereavement leave**Benefits available for eligible permanent full time associatesYour background & experience:Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration or construction management related field preferredMinimum one year of work experience; experience in project coordination or real estate industry preferredSuccessful completion of initial and periodically required trainingObtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.If hired, successful completion of annual store trainingPay Range: P1: $29.00 - $40.50 / per hour* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.#LI-ZW1#LI-HybridPanda Strong since 1983:Founded in Glendale, California, we are now the largest family-owned American Chinese Restaurant concept in America.
