Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. in Pasadena, CA, seeks a CFT Development Coordinator to support real estate development and construction from planning through turnover and closeout.

You will provide administrative support for documentation, scheduling, budgets, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.   • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of work experience in project coordination or real estate
  • Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment
  • Annual store training completes

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communications among architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, attorneys, government agencies, and internal departments.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, responsibility matrices, development checklists, and related records.
  • Assist with project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, attend site visits, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain orderly electronic and hard-copy project files including plans, reports, permits, contracts, and approvals.
  • Assist with preparation of project status reports, budgets, and executive summaries.
  • Support bidding, contractor selection, contract execution, and pre-construction processes.
  • Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, payment apps, and inspection reports.

Summary Of Job Description

The CFT Development Coordinator supports real estate development and construction projects from initial planning through design, permitting, construction, turnover, and closeout. This position provides administrative support related to documentation, scheduling, financials, as well as coordination support to the Development teams.

You’ll Get a Chance To
  • Coordinates communications and deliverables among architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, attorneys, government agencies, and internal departments.
  • Maintains project schedules, milestone trackers, responsibility matrices, development checklists, action-item logs, current construction drawings, specifications, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and other related project records.
  • Helps coordinate project meetings, ensuring preparation of agenda and record meeting minutes, attends project meetings and site visits as required, and follows up on assigned action items.
  • Maintains orderly electronic and hard-copy project files, including plans, reports, permits, contracts, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Assists with preparation of project status reports, presentations, development budgets, and executive summaries.
  • Supports the bidding, contractor-selection, contract-execution, and pre-construction processes.
  • Track submittals, RFIs, change-order requests, payment applications, inspection reports, and outstanding decisions.
  • Assist with evaluating and documenting potential change orders, including cost, schedule impact, required approvals, and supporting documentation.
  • Provides administrative assistance related to development and construction budgets, commitments, forecasts, and cash-flow schedules.
  • Tracks approved contracts, change orders, invoices, payments, and remaining budget balances.

Your Background & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration or construction management related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of work experience; experience in project coordination or real estate industry preferred
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required training
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
  • If hired, successful completion of annual store training

Pay Range: P1: $29.00 - $40.50 / per hour
