Job summary

Circle of Life in Montevideo, MN, is seeking a CFSS Support Worker to provide compassionate personal care to clients according to care plans. You will assist with ADLs, IADLs, and other health-related tasks, while maintaining safety and confidentiality in clients' homes.

You will document cares, assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and transportation arrangements, and report safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• CFSS Certification required or strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with home care services preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Duties Include:

• Provide Personal Care Services to clients in accordance with the care plan.
• Provide assistance including, but not limited to, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and other health related tasks.
• Document cares provided to client as instructed.
• Assist with routine household chores of light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands/shopping, and transportation arraignments.
• Recognize safety hazards in client's home environment or habits of daily living.
• Report all safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Provide clients with social and emotional support.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect.
• Maintain training and educational requirements.

Qualifications

CFSS Support Worker Certification, High School Diploma or GED, and industry knowledge strongly preferred.
