Job summary

Circle of Life Home Care and Soaring Eagles Home Care in Benson, MN is seeking a CFSS Support Worker to join our Montevideo team. You will provide personal care services and assist with ADLs/IADLs according to each client's care plan, helping clients stay independent at home.

Responsibilities include documenting care, assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and safe transportation arrangements, while recognizing hazards and reporting concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• CFSS Support Worker Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; industry knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Duties Include

• Provide Personal Care Services to clients in accordance with the care plan.
• Provide assistance including, but not limited to, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and other health related tasks.
• Document cares provided to client as instructed.
• Assist with routine household chores of light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands/shopping, and transportation arraignments.
• Recognize safety hazards in client's home environment or habits of daily living.
• Report all safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Provide clients with social and emotional support.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect.
• Maintain training and educational requirements.

Qualifications

CFSS Support Worker Certification, High School Diploma or GED, and industry knowledge strongly preferred.
