Job summary

Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) seeks a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CTS President to drive growth, profitability, and cash flow for the Transportation Systems division.

As a CTS Senior Leadership Team member, you will lead the global finance organization, implement strong controls, influence pricing and investment decisions, and guide strategic planning and forecasting to support senior management decisions.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance with at least fifteen years progressive finance and project accounting experience.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience with general ledger, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Strong global people leadership skills with a track record of hiring, retaining, and developing global top talent.
• Ability to communicate a vision & business strategy to the team and formulate plans to achieve the vision.
• Must be self-motivated, pragmatic, influential and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive the financial performance of Transportation Systems while ensuring proper financial controls.
• As a member of the CTS SLT develop the annual operating and strategic plan.
• Hires, develops and retains a high-performance global finance team.
• Responsible for employee engagement, identify and mentor future successors.
• Coach and build the financial acumen across the business.
