Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in Los Angeles is seeking a PEPI CFO Services Associate to join our Private Equity Performance Improvement team. You will leverage finance and accounting expertise to support interim CFO/Controller roles, develop findings and strategic recommendations, and manage time-sensitive project work streams across client engagements.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in related fields, strong financial modeling skills (including cash-flow modeling) and experience with Tableau, PowerBI

Qualifications

7–10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four‑year institution.
Strong expertise with data and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau.
Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short or immediate notice.

Responsibilities

Developing findings and making strategic recommendations.
13‑week cash‑flow modeling and financial statement analysis; Tableau and think‑cell experience is a plus.
Treasury / cash management experience is a strong plus.
Systems implementation experience is a plus.
