Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a PEPI CFO Services Associate to join its Private Equity Performance Improvement practice. The role requires 7–10+ years in related fields, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and strong data analytics skills including Excel, Power BI, Alteryx and Tableau.

Travel up to 80% is expected as part of client engagements across the U.S. You will develop findings, structure work plans, and make strategic recommendations while contributing to cash‑flow analyses and financial

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited four‑year institution.
• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time at short or immediate notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Structure work plans and manage time‑sensitive projects through completion.
• Demonstrate strong financial modeling and financial statement analysis; 13‑week cash‑flow modeling is preferred.
• Use Tableau and think‑cell; treasury/cash management experience is a plus.
• Demonstrate client relationship building and deliver time‑pressured projects on time and on quality.
