Job summary

Boston Consulting Group seeks Expert Consultants and Expert Project Leaders to join the CFO Excellence team, focusing on reimagining finance operating models and unlocking the power of analytics and AI.

You will work with clients to understand issues, craft strategies, and gain buy-in, while collaborating with colleagues on complex problems. A strong consulting mindset and drive are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of finance experience across topics such as finance function effectiveness, CFO advisory, FP&A, process and policy, technology, operations, organizational structure and strategy, and/or transformation.
• Previous consulting experience is required.
• Proven experience with finance transformation programs including operating model redesign, process re-engineering, technology enablement, shared services, finance tech, budgeting, reporting and BI, core accounting, tax, treasury, audit, AI and ML.

Responsibilities

• Join CFO Excellence team to tackle finance transformations and drive peak efficiency.
• Lead end-to-end workstreams within client engagements and build buy-in for recommendations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve complex client issues and develop domain expertise within BCG.
• Supervise workstreams on strategic diligence, product development, and long‑term investment opportunities.
