Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP’s CFO Advisory – Accounting Advisory practice seeks a Senior Manager to lead engagements across public and private companies, with hybrid work flexibility or remote for the right candidate, and travel as needed. You will mentor juniors, drive growth, and manage technical accounting matters with integrity and client focus.

You will direct planning, fieldwork, deliverables, and client discussions with CFOs and controllers, ensuring timely, accurate results and strong engagements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with US GAAP knowledge.
• 7+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or industry environment.
• Experience with technical accounting and internal controls.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Able to navigate ambiguous and complex client assignments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver accounting advisory engagements including technical accounting matters.
• Direct activities of junior professionals and draft deliverables.
• Engage with client leadership (CFOs, Controllers) and drive growth.
• Participate in all stages of engagements and assist with planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Develop strong client relationships and understand the client’s business needs.
• Mentor team members and contribute to growth of the Advisory practice.
