Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to oversee all accounting, budgeting, reporting, tax and audit functions. You will direct financial strategy, partner with the CEO and Board, and lead forecasting and risk management for the healthcare business.

The role requires experience as CFO or finance leader in healthcare, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Competitive compensation includes top benefits and profit sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA preferred.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role, ideally with external audit and in-house financial management in a high-growth healthcare organization.
  • Experience as CFO or finance officer in healthcare.

Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and seasoned CFO to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role is a unique opportunity for a finance professional who is motivated by the chance to make a significant impact on the financial health and trajectory of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management within the healthcare industry, with a proven record of successful execution.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
  • Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and Board of Directors.
  • Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
  • Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  • Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
  • Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
  • Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to start a business.
  • Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
  • Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)
  • Professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) is also preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management role ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organization.
  • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role within the healthcare industry.
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. ERP)
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
  • CPA is a strong advantage.
