Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, risk management, and corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will have experience in fiscal management and revenue cycle management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage risk by identifying potential financial threats and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Develop financial models to support business decisions and long-term planning.
  • Supervise tax accounting processes to ensure compliance with tax regulations while optimizing tax liabilities.
  • Oversee revenue management practices to maximize profitability and enhance cash flow.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, risk management practices, corporate accounting standards, and fiscal management strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques to support strategic decision-making.
  • In-depth understanding of tax accounting principles and regulations.
  • Familiarity with revenue management strategies and revenue cycle management processes.

Education and Experience:
  • Education: MBA or CPA preferred, but not required.
  • Experience: Three years’ experience in healthcare accounting policies and procedures.
  • One year of experience in management is needed. Experience in non-profits or FQHCs preferred.
  • Other: Valid N.C. Driver’s License, and dependable transportation.
