Qualifications

• CWI certification (AWS QC1) required or pending.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1, D1.6, B2.1, A2.4, ASME IX.
• Proficient with Excel and PDF/Acrobat tools.
• AutoCAD experience a plus; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final weld inspections per codes and specs.
• Read drawings/blueprints and customer specs.
• Create detailed weld maps from layouts and drawings.
• Generate inspection reports with joints, certs, and test docs.
• Ensure compliance with AWS/ASME standards.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and traceability.
