Qualifications

• Certification in welding from an accredited program or equivalent.
• 1+ year welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to operate overhead cranes and handle welding fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Pass and maintain certification through the Welder Qualification Test.
• Operate overhead cranes to position parts for welding.
• Adjust machine settings for proper weld configurations.
• Clean finished welds using grinders and other tools.
• Heat, form, and weld metal parts in various positions.
• Use measuring tools to ensure specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Assemble and weld metal components with precision.
• Position and secure parts prior to welding.
• Cross-train across production areas as needed.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and 6S procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and work effectively in a team.
