Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist (OFNHP Bend) to join the perioperative team. The CST maintains sterile technique, assists the surgeon, and helps ensure patient safety throughout procedures in a busy operating room.

The role requires graduation from a CAAHEP/ABHES accredited program (or military CST program) and current NBSTSA/NCCT certification, plus BLS. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• The CST must graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or military CST program.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT Surgical Technologist Certification is required.
• CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a member of the Surgical Services Perioperative team to ensure patient care is safe and efficient.
• Prepares the operating room and equipment for cases and drapes sterile fields.
• Assists surgeon with instruments, maintains sterile technique, and supports team workflow.
