Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is seeking a qualified Certified Surgical Technologist to support operating room procedures. This role involves scrubbing on all types of surgeries, setting up sterile fields, and ensuring instrument and supply readiness.

Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The position reports to the OR supervisor and requires BLS certification and OR technology credentials (C-SA or C-ST).

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Able to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians and employees.
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures specific to an OR.
• Ability to utilize electronic health care record for patient documentation.

Responsabilités

• Provide surgical scrub on all types of minor and major surgical procedures under supervision.
• Set up and maintain a sterile field for procedures applying asepsis.
• Apply knowledge of instruments, equipment, and supplies used in the OR.
• Organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for easy access and efficiency.
• Participate in a rotational call system to ensure continuous patient services.
• Follow guidelines for setting up sterile field and instruments for procedures.
