Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Surgical Technology.
• Required: CST certification.
• 6 months–2 years of active experience in surgical technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile instrumentation and supplies for procedures.
• Assist surgeon by suctioning, retracting, and wound care.
• Circulate for operative procedures under RN supervision.
• Ensure safe instrument handling and aseptic technique.
• Assist with patient transfer and post-procedure dressing.
• Maintain communication with health team and promote teamwork.
• Return borrowed equipment and manage case carts.
