AdventHealth in Dade City, Florida is seeking a dedicated Surgical Tech to join the team. The role focuses on sterile technique, instrument handling, and assisting in daily procedures within a busy surgical service.

Responsibilities include preparing dressings, assisting with terminal cleaning, and maintaining strict sterile practices. Requires CST certification or equivalent and at least one year of scrub experience.

Formación

• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment and sterile field setup.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and patient safety.
• Minimum one year scrub experience in a multi-disciplinary surgical service.
• Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal skills.
• State CST or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares sterile dressings and cleans instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists with terminal cleaning and room prep for next patient.
• Handles surgical specimens with accuracy.
• Maintains sterile technique during procedures and counts with circulator.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments and meds for procedures.
• Passes instruments to surgeon and supports draping of sterile field.
