Qualifications

• Graduate of approved Surgical Technologist School with certification.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
• High School graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and supplies for procedures using sterile technique.
• Maintain sterile field and assist team with gowning, draping, and instrument passing.
• Count instruments, sharps and sponges; assist with room setup and terminal cleaning.
• Coordinate robotic arms/instruments during endoscopic procedures as directed.
• Prepare sterile dressings and specimens as appropriate.
