Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. The role supports surgeons, prepares sterile setups, and assists in turnover of ORs under RN supervision. Schedule: Monday–Friday, Evening Shift, 12-hour days, 36 hours weekly, non-exempt with potential signing bonus.

Union UFCW; teamwork and compassionate care are emphasized. Requires graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology, CST credential, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology.
• Maintain current BLS certification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operative procedures and scrubbing for physicians.
• Prepare sterile setup and drape patient as required.
• Pass instruments and supplies; maintain instrument count.
• Support operating room turnaround and turnover activities.
