Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Your Everyday Assist the circulating nurse with patient positioning, confirmation/preparation of operative site, care of operative specimens and room turnover.
• Establish and maintain an organized sterile field.
• Use proper sterilisation methods for instruments prior to procedures.
• Understand asepsis and address asepsis standards and takes corrective action when unsafe practices occur.
• Prepare the operating room with sterile supplies, instruments, and sutures.
• Follow policies for scrubbing, gowning, gloving, draping and counting with the circulating nurse.
• Perform the role of first scrub on basic surgical cases.
• Anticipate the needs and assist the surgeon with retracting tissue and holding instrumentation.
