HCA Healthcare is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech in West Valley City, Utah. You will assist the surgeon in the operating room, scrub and prepare the operative field, and help with room turnover while ensuring aseptic technique.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, CST certification, 1 year OR experience, and BCLS certification. This is an essential support role in our ambulatory surgery setting.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent as required by facility.
• Surgical Tech Certification is required prior to employment.
• One year of operating room experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate practical, technical, or specialized skills for the surgical tech role per standards.
• Prepare the operative suite by gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments.
• Maintain asepsis in handling instruments, sponges, sutures, and dressings.
• Assist in turnover of OR suites between cases and clean equipment and surfaces.
• Prepare the procedure room for the next day and report needs to supervisor.
