Job summary

Lone Peak Surgery Center in Draper, UT seeks a Certified Surgical Tech to support safe nursing care in the OR under a Registered Nurse. You'll scrub, assist the surgeon, and help with turnover, data recording, and collaboration in clinical decisions.

Qualifications include a Surgical Technology program graduate, BCLS certification, and about one year OR experience; online certs not acceptable. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required; online not acceptable.
• At least 1 year experience in an operating room setting, preferably ambulatory surgery center.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program; otherwise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing the operative suite for surgery and gather supplies and instruments.
• Maintain surgical asepsis in handling instruments, sponges, sutures, drains and dressings.
• Assist in turnover of operating rooms between cases and environmental cleaning.
• Prepare procedure rooms for the following day by arranging equipment and reporting needs to supervisor.
