Job summary

Northpointe ASC is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join our operating room team in Tooele, UT. The role involves assisting surgeons and staff, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program, hold CST or be grandfathered per state rules, and have BLS certification. OR experience 0–2 years may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CST certification, or based on state regulations, may be grandfathered in without being certified.
• Prefer 1-2 years clinical experience in an operating room setting; may accept 0-2 years in a related field.
• Must be certified in Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Sets up the sterile field with instruments, drapes, and solutions.
• Follows state and federal facility regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Performs pre-procedure skin and body prep.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assists with specimen handling.
