Beth Israel Lahey Health in Plymouth, MA is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join the perioperative team. The role supports nurses and surgeons, preparing instruments and equipment for procedures, and ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

Two 8-hour and two 12-hour shifts are available, with a call rotation and weekend coverage Monday through Saturday. The position pays per hour, with a union contract governing compensation.

• Initiates proper procedure for sponge, needle and instrument counts.
• Ensures proper care and handling of specimens and medications on the sterile field.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for decontamination and sterilization.
• Attends staff meetings and continuing education opportunities.
