Job summary

Trinity Health St. Mary’s Health Care System in Lavonia, GA seeks a part-time Surgical Technologist to assist in the Main OR under RN supervision, supporting intra-operative care and preparation of the surgical patient.

The ideal candidate is NBSTSA certified, graduate of a surgical tech program, with 1 year OR experience; strong communication and teamwork; on-call availability and day shift PRN.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification required.
• Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program; able to read/write English.
• Minimum of 1 year OR experience (student experience allowed).

Responsibilities

• Assist in intra-operative care under RN supervision.
• Prepare surgical patients and assist with duties per hospital standards.
• Demonstrate asepsis and effective communication within the team.
