A high school diploma is required, with an Associate degree preferred and multiple certifications listed. Training and growth are supported.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Surgical First Assistant experience preferred or related area."

Responsibilities

• Set up operating suites with instruments based on surgeon preference.
• Assist with tissue handling, retraction, suction, and irrigation.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safety throughout procedures.
• Assist with positioning patients and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Pending physician preferences and counts for instruments and sponges.
