Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• Associate degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 2+ years of relevant surgical support experience preferred.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Sets up operating suites per physician preference cards and updates cards as instructed.
• Determines appropriate surgical equipment and supplies based on preferences.
• Achesive temporary and permanent hemostasis using appropriate techniques.
• Assists with body plane closures, wound dressing, and drainage systems.
• Maintains aseptic technique and monitors team for breaks in technique.
• Assists with patient positioning and safety during procedures.
• Handles instruments and supports surgeon during operations.
