Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) with CST background to join our surgical team in Indiana. The CSFA will assist the surgeon during operations, maintain a sterile field, and support patient care to ensure safe and efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• A CST who holds a CSFA designation must have completed a certified surgical technology program.
• CSFA must be a CST with operating room experience who has graduated from a CAAHEP accredited surgical assisting program.

Responsibilities

• Expedite total surgical time by assisting the surgeon and patient care activities.
• Collaborates with the anesthesia provider and other team members to promote OR efficiency and quicker turnover times.
• Prepares for operation and uses supplies judiciously.
• Flexible with assignments, call coverage, and hours worked.
• Follows instrument/equipment manufacturers' guidelines and maintains sterile technique.
• Maintain professional environment and uphold patient privacy and HIPAA policies.
