Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) to join our surgical team in Florida. The CSFA will work closely with the surgeon and team throughout procedures, handling instruments, providing tissue exposure, and assisting with suturing and wound closure to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Requirements include CSFA certification, minimum HS diploma, and current BLS, with 3–5 years of CSFA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma required.
• Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proven experience with surgical anatomy, physiology and operative technique.
• Strong technical skills in surgical procedures and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during operations by handling instruments.
• Provide tissue exposure and control bleeding during procedures.
• Hold retractors and assist with suturing and wound closure.
• Support efficient surgical workflow and high-quality patient care.
