Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department. This full-time night shift runs Monday–Friday, 2300–0730, with on-call duties, and a pay range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and CSPDT certification, with at least two years in sterile processing and strong customer service. You will assist the SPD Supervisor and ensure safe, compliant instrument processing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with two years' Sterile Processing experience.
• CSPDT certification required; certification in Sterile Processing Management encouraged within three years of hire.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SPD resource and model excellent customer service.
• Assist with daily SPD operations and communicate with supervisor.
• Lead SPD staff when acting as Supervisor.
• Maintain production standards and equipment function.
• Assist with case cart management and department policies.
