Job summary

Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort in the Poconos is seeking certified ski and snowboard instructors for winter seasonal 2026/2027. Full and part-time positions available; you will deliver quality instruction and provide world-class guest service in a safe, fun learning environment.

Starting wage is $21.00/hr with potential to go up to $64.34/hr; eligible for ski passes, discount tickets for friends/family, and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to work with guests of all ages, including children aged 3 and older.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays and meet scheduling requirements.
• Placement contingent upon completing training and meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support ski school needs including scanning, running surface lifts, assisting lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers and riders

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
