Job summary

Vail Resorts in Gorham, NH is seeking seasonal ski instructors to teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages, with a focus on children. You will deliver world-class guest service in a safe and fun learning environment, while supporting all needs of the snow sports school and providing feedback to inspire lifelong skiers.

Starting wage is $20/hr with opportunities to earn more via teaching incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.

Job Specifications:

Job Requirements:

• Must be comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work weekends/Holidays
• Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended period of time
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

As a Non-Certified Ski Instructor, you have the ability to be a flexible employee who works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one-resort mentality which could include:

• Lift Experience
• Mountain Activities
• Food and Beverage Support
• Base Area Operations
• Retail Rental Operations

The expected pay range is$20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
