Job summary

Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort seeks certified ski and snowboard instructors to teach groups and individuals, delivering world-class guest service in a safe and fun environment for guests of all ages.

Positions are winter seasonal 2026/2027 with starting wage $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. Full and Part Time hours available; English fluency and PSIA/AASI Level 1 or ISIA equivalent are required, with background checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages, including children aged 3+.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world-class guest service to all guests.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all ski school needs including scanning, operating lifts, and equipment fitting.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers and riders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older

Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.

Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
