Vail Resorts is hiring Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors for the 2026/27 season in Pennsylvania. Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr
• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may earn more with additional teaching incentives
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Part‑time hours available; for full‑time instructors, a 40‑hour workweek is not guaranteed and scheduled hours vary by business volume
• Minimum Age: 16 years
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities

• Support all ski school needs, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers and riders

Job Requirements

• Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above
• Fluently communicate in English
• Comfortable working with children aged 3 and older
• Willing to work weekends, holidays, and meet minimum scheduling requirements
• Placement contingent upon completing training and meeting skill, guest‑service, and safety standards

The role requires background check clearances by the State of Pennsylvania, to be completed before work begins.
