Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring ski instructors for the 2026/27 season in Leavenworth, Kansas. This role offers a competitive pay range of $21.00/hr to $64.34/hr, as well as comprehensive benefits including free ski passes, discounts on lodging and food, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications

• Must possess PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or equivalent.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $64.34/hr
• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more withadditionalteaching incentives
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available. For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.
• Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Requirements

• MinimumPSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certificationorISIAequivalent and above
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidaysand meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The expected pay range is $21.00/hr - $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
