Job summary

Whitetail Resort in Pennsylvania is seeking Certified Ski/Snowboard Instructors for the 2026/2027 winter season. Full and part-time positions available with a starting wage of $21.00/hr and opportunities to earn more through teaching incentives.

Instructors deliver group and private lessons, serve diverse guests, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. Training, equipment fitting, and lift assistance may be required.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent required.
• English fluency required.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Background checks by Pennsylvania required.
• Winter Seasonal position for 2026/2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages and abilities.
• Deliver world class guest service to all guests
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all ski school needs inclusive of scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

Experience the best office in the world teaching skiing and snowboarding to guests of all ages. Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors will deliver quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, providing world class guest service in a safe and fun environment. Full and Part Time positions available.

Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $21.00/hr – $64.34/hr

Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.

Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available. For Full-Time Instructors, a 40-hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.

Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age

Job Requirements:

Minimum PSIA/AASI instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent and above

Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older

Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.

Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

The role you are being hired into requires further background check clearances by the State ofPennsylvania, which will need to be completed before you can begin work.

The expected pay range is$21.00/hr – $64.34/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
