Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in a retail store environment to support the Pharmacist with prescriptions, patient interactions, and day-to-day operations.

You will enter prescription data, assist with dispensing, and ensure accuracy while maintaining workflow and customer service standards. Training and ongoing education are provided to maintain clinical and service quality.

Qualifikationen

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Aufgaben

• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• Report prescription errors and support Quality Improvement processes.
• Support inventory management, ordering, unpacking, and storage of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide客户 assistance and direct customers to OTC aisles when needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers as required.
• Support pharmacy-related clinical services as directed by management.
